The bold part. Is it a tire size and I'm just not understanding it?

it's a truck tire. first portion is the diameter of the tire's tread is 27 inches, the width of the tread is 8.5 inches.

I have a set of e36 M3 rear stock springs. You can have them for $15 plus actual shipping. We put them on my car as a gag once. Drove around for a few weeks and, then removed them to get my car back on the ground..

Ah...that's what I thought but then the only pictures were of new 205/70-14s and I started to doubt.

this thing must handle like a 1960s american car. that side wall flex is gonna do terrible things when you need to avoid stuff in the road or need to brake hard.

Actually still handles better, still going to get the 27x8.50r14 just waiting for my new baby to be born then i will buy new tires, they will have a lit stiffer sidewall, just to have to be careful in the rain right now.

Still handle better than an SUV, and with similar ground clearance.

Have you seen the sidewalls on 50s and 60s Ferraris? Those things have huge amounts of sidewall!
