    Catuned or Ground Control Coilovers

    Hello R3v Members,

I'm currently saving up for my suspension and I was hoping if you can help with your inputs, suggestions and actual experiences with these coilover systems.

If you guys can also direct me on what to refresh on my suspension prior to the coilovers. I would really appreciate that as well.

I'm looking just to drop and lose the wheel gap and I also do want comfort while driving, for this is going to be on my DD.

Here are pictures of my car as it currently is and thanks again everyone!

Here's a post from last week that should help.

My first question is why do you think you need coilovers? You might find conventional springs more than adequate.

Here's a couple freebies for you that should help....

you can also do HR sport, koni yellow SAs and all new rubber bushings. you will have a good drop and good DD feel.

My car is on GC's if you want to feel the ride. I have 0 exp with any of the CATuned stuff.

From a thread SkiFree linked, has been pretty damn accurate in my personal experience and many others.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Why does everyone feel the need for coilovers? There's nothing wrong with a nice spring/shock combo...

The same reasons why you have coilovers.

My buddy next door, did convince me with his h&r race and bilstein set up on his e30, but I guess I'm just more favorable to the adjustability of coilovers. I've been indecisive haha, which is why I asked and read about their thoughts/experiences with coils. Btw, really like your car! Always looking good haha.

Whoa, you're super nice. That's really uncommon in San Jose lol. Unfortunately, I'll be meeting with someone when I'm off work to sell a few parts I posted on my thread. I really appreciate your gesture!

I love how 90% of coil-over buyers say that they want them for the adjustability, then sloppily "set their ride height" once and never touch them again.
No corner balancing, no re-alignment, nothing.
                              Really people?
