Just went to H&R OE Sports because I wanted to get the car a little lower but keep it streetable for daily driving. Originally I was told I should go H&R Sport because it was the perfect amount of drop for a daily, but I found a great deal on some OE Sports so I figured it would be worth a chance to try them on and see what resulted. I noticed in pictures that the front seems to sit much higher than the rear, so I also got e90 front drop hats.

Net result: Fantastic! Its MUCH lower than I had imagined. Ive heard it quoted that the 1990 325is front arches sit 26.5" off the ground, which if that is true, the front was lowered 2.5" total. Ride is still nice, although it has accentuated the fact that I need new struts (which I knew before). From the research I've done there seems to be a lot of question and speculation as to whether the e90 drop hats fit properly, and my anecdotal evidence is that it does. No binding, no grinding, no problems at all.

So my vote: H&R OE Sport and e90 front drop hats are awesome.
