    Not sure which is best

I'm installing 17" wheels on my e30, and I'm not sure which springs I should get to drop the car. I keep hearing conflicting reports when it comes to h&r vs. Eibach. I don't really know about any other brands. I'm just looking for a spring that will give me a leveled look with no rake, a big enough drop to close the wheel gap (dont really want it to tuck the tires), yet still provides a comfortable drive for a DD. Which brand/model spring is best for this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Since you're particular about the stance; Have you considered a basic coil over kit?

You can choose rates that aren't off the charts, and set the heights to your liking.

Any kits that you have in mind? I'm not familiar with coilovers for this car.

You will have to change out your struts if you are going lower than 2" other wise you will have a shity ride and eventually blow the struts anyway. So imo spend a little more money for a strut and spring setup or lower end coilovers.

Well I just recently installed Bilstein sports. The car is already lowered, almost slammed, by a previous owner. It currently has 15" wheels on it and I'm putting 17", so I need to raise it to fit the wheels

Trim the bumpstops on the Billys, don't go crazy with rates, and you'll be fine.
