bmw e30 d2 coilovers

what's up I just purchased a set of d2 suspension for my e30 and I know their were 2 spindle sizes made for the struts on e30's .. I purchased the bigger size which is the 51mm and my spindle is a 45mm.. these coilovers are non weld, no welding is required. their supposed to be somewhat of an insert on the housing on the struts.. any suggestions on what I could do ?? thanks

get 51mm housings from another E30.
