    M Sport Springs?

I went to jack up my car this morning as I was hearing some pretty loud thumping sound coming from the drivers side front wheel area. What I discovered was the shock/strut completely loose (Nearly off) of the strut housing as the bolt that secured them together might have not been tightened properly by the previous owner and managed to loosen itself out completely. The spring is now pretty badly bent, however, I have no clue what type of spring I need to replace as the car sits pretty low and the spring seems to be from BMW.
I did a bit of googling and found some results giving me reason to believe that the springs are out of some sort of M sport package e30?
Stamps on the Spring include: "BMW11327422RBW 28 0" as well as 2 pink stripes.
I checked the spring and the ends of them don't seem to be cut stock ones.

I would assume that these springs are not for sale anymore and I would need to replace them with some h&r's if I would want to stay low.
Also, stupid question, but is it dangerous to drive a car with this bent spring(Pictures will be added soon) just untill I can gather up some money to get the h&r and bilstein sport combo and not be emptying out my pockets?

I think M technic/M3 springs have 6 coils. Standard coils have 7 or something like that, IIRC.

Oh wow- Is your signature picture accurate? I can only imagine it was riding that low if the shocks were being used to compress the springs. This is pretty dangerous and could potentially be the reason the top nut came loose.

Stock springs won't really allow for lowering unless you go with m3 springs or euro m-tech springs - but even then, we're talking 1/2" to 1" at most.

My springs seem to have 7 coils.
And yeah, i'm just ganna leave my car out of commission until i get the spring and shock combo. Should be no more than 2 weeks(:
Im not sure what you mean by the shocks compressing the springs? When the car is jacked up, the springs are loose and can be turned by hand with slight pressure.

Your sig picture looks like the the rims are nearly touching the wheel arches which I couldn't imagine occuring on uncut stock springs. Are your shocks replacements?

I have MTech vert springs and the rear tucks quite a bit of tire. That's just how they ride.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.
