    While i'm in there....

    Hey R3v,

Was doing a steering rap swap this past weekend (e46) and while i was down there i noticed the sorry state of....everything else. I figure while I have the car up on stands I might as well do the suspension. I need endlinks, control arms, swaybar mounts (20mm) and CAB's. Does anyone have any reccomended brands/vendors that you would personally source these from? I've been looking through blunt, IE, and pelican and they all seem to have some but not everything. Also am unsure of getting m3 CAB's vs. normal. Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

    Endlinks

    Left Control Arm

    Right Control Arm

    Sway Bar Mounts

    CABs

M3 CABs give you more caster which is good for stability at higher speeds. It's a common upgrade.

Thanks for the links. For the sway bar mounts I actually need the whole thing, not just the bushing. I was looking at this.

Also, I was thinking of going poly for the CAB, can anyone with experience on the matter tell me if the extra harshness is worth it.

I've also been considering solid mounted CAB's such as treehouse racing.

What are you doing with your car? Street, street/track, track only? If it's only street, or street and light track/auto-x use, I would just get OE rubber. OE M3 CABs are stiffer than the regular ones, BTW.

If you need the sway brackets too, I think I'd just order new OE brackets.

As for poly bushings... I have poly TAB and subframe bushings. I don't think the ride is too harsh or anything, but I think it would've been easier to just use OE pieces. The TABS were a BITCH to install, and the subframe bushings I didn't get mounted right (although that's probably my fault - still need to look into that).

I don't have experience with them, but I definitely wouldn't get solid CABs for a street car. The only place I would consider using solid bushings on a street car is the TABs, reason being, the trailing arms are mounted to the subframe, which is isolated from the chassis by the subframe and diff bushings. I might do that when I do my subframe again. I do have some suspension squeaks, BTW, not sure where, but I'd bet it's my TABs. Not very bad though.
