    Which springs are better

IE3 vs H&R races or super sports.

I need at least a 2" drop in the front and I plan on running Billy HD's all around.
The car will mostly be a dd but will probably see some track days and auto cross once I fix some more things.
Which springs do you guys think are better?

Not sure if springs alone will give you the drop youre looking for. I could be wrong though.

The H&R race springs say they lower the front 2.2" and rear 2.1". As for the IE3's they say 2" front drop and 1.5" rear drop.
The super sports are 1.6" drop front and back and would probably be a better street spring, especially with some of our fu*ked roads here in the PacNW

Back in the day when very few people cared about E30's, H&R and other mass market spring manufacturers discontinued their E30 listings due to low sales. This was the point when IE stepped in ..... since then E30's have become once again popular and spring brands have jumped back on the proverbial bandwagon.

The Stg3's and the H&R race have initial spring rates that are very similar to one another. The difference lies in the fact that when the Stg.3's were being formulated the improvement-decision was made to increase the progressive rate. This means they get stiffer quicker as the spring compresses (meaning you are more likely to avoid bottoming out).

Lowtec 60/50mm spring not the stiffest, great street spring and great price, no drop hats needed. I would not run HD's, billy sports are more suited.

Damn wish I would have read that earlier. I ordered the HR races. Then in a couple weeks and I'll do socks and struts and see how she sits. After that I want to replace every bushing in the car then get better sways and some strut tower supports.

Probably go with st sway bars since I've heard there great and the price is nice. Has anyone tried the HR sway bars?
