How Do I Get A Wider Stance?

I'd like to upgrade the suspension and improve the handling any way I can while keeping the stock look.

Is there any way to widen the stance of my car? The tires could probably come out an inch or so and be even with the fender.

Also, what is the best suspension upgrade? I don't want to lower it and I don't care if the ride is a little stiff. My daily commute is through twisting valley roads and I really don't like slowing down through the corners.

PLEASE DON'T MOVE THIS THREAD. THE SUSPENSION THREAD DOESN'T GET ENOUGH VISITS.

spacers and thicker sway bars is my vote. anything else and you will have to lower it a little. H&R sports lower it only an inch or so I beleive. So its not too bad and its stiffer I gather.

E30 M3 springs might be good also. Little bit stiffer with only a slight drop.

Thanks. I pulled the fat chick out. Had to grease her up first.

Where's the best place to get the parts? I found H&R OE Sport Springs that have the least drop ($268.00), and Sway Bars ($472.75) at pelicanparts.com. Is this a good deal?

Should I replace the shock absorbers at the same time?

Has anyone had any experiences with Intrax sway bars? I saw them on flyingbrick for like 300 for front and rear. I am also going after the same thing rose89 is, though I already lowered my car.

20-25mm spacers and a good fender roller.

I have a set of eibach pro kit and a set of h&r sports (soon). Albeit they lower the car, I'll let them go for $140 shipped (each set)!

Also, if you're going to increase your track substantially, get some fender flares. Otherwise, your car will look retarded.
