    E30 Power Steering Hoses

Has anyone had luck finding generic versions of PS hoses that attach to the reservoir?

    16X22MM pn 32411131545
    12X18MM pn 32411131524

Trying to replace without spending $30-40 each on standard-looking hoses..

    Thanks in advance

Those are the reservoir to pump and rack to reservoir hoses? If so, those are both low pressure, you can get generic Autozone or whatever power steering hoses. I did both of mine with those about a year ago and no problems. Save the banjo fittings and use hose clamps for the new generic hoses... way cheaper.

I installed a brand new power steering system in my car. I kept it OEM stock to the car. I bought everything new or high quality brand that was refurbished. The freakin power steering hoses were more expensive than a refurbished power steering rack.
If you get generic you will be replacing more often than better quality lines because there is quite some pressure in those power steering hoses.
I never found myself content buying generic pressure hoses but you do you =)

He's referring to the low pressure hoses. They love to leak at the ends but they will not blow from pressure.

With these hoses does the hose diameter need to be specific, like the 18mm and 22mm ?
