I've decided I want to go with Bilstein Sport Shocks for my 325e, but with it being an '84 the strut housing is 45mm which is smaller than the 51mm strut housing for e30's from 86 on... Does this matter on what overall diameter of the shock is? or do I have to buy a certain size of Shock to fit it down the tube? first time lowering a car...
