    Does anyone else's not fit?

    they have two different lengths. measure the distance between the two strut towers. did you buy it directly from them?

      This has been covered to death, but I'll sum it up.

      The IE bar, the Sparco bar, the garagetastic bar are all made to a specified distance (as per the original BMW-designated distance between the strut towers). Even when new e30's varied from this number. Couple that with 25 years of use/abuse and the variation escalates.

      I have personally measured a dozen E30's in one day and found each to be different. Overall I've seen up to a 2.5" spread. One can compensate for about approx. .5" difference by jacking the car up by the center of the front subframe and letting the chassis spread overnight.

      This is specifically why IE and others publish this dimension up front.
