    Power steering delete with lubrication

I had a leak in my power steering pump so i had to disconnect it for a while and ended up liking it better. Felt like it gave me much more feedback.

So my question is, is there anyway to keep the rack and pinion lubricated without power steering?

    Thanks!

It is lubricated from the factory just like a manual rack for the lifetime of the componemt. Hydraulic fluid does not provide lubrication.

So basically dump it full of motor oil and seal it up?

Remove the lines, give it a few cranks lock to lock to remove as much of the old ATF as possible, put some hose over the old banjo bolts to keep the dirt out and reinstall them with very little tightness. DONE!
