    bad alignment causing unpredictable steering?

on the highway, my car feels very loose. I can Guarantee that the alignment is off.. so much that I can actually SEE the difference when i try to straighten out the wheels and notice that one is angled from the other.

is that the sole cause of the feeling of a floaty, rather unpredictable car? i mean it was so bad that i was nervous to change lanes.. lol

    thanx guys

Could also be worn or loose trailing arm bushings. Does the car seem to change it's track when going on and off the gas?

if it's alignment, your toe must be way out of wack! mine is toed out pretty good but is still very stable and easy to drive at high speeds.

the toe is pretty bad... I just replaced the trailing arm/subframe bush with urethane.. so i KNOW that's not the problem. I can visually see it....

Mine alignment was pretty out of whack after my suspension swap and made for less than confident steering till I got it done. Sounds like yours is even worse than mine was. Got her done and it drove like a dream.
