    E30 X-brace noticeable in a non-vert?

I think its beaten to death that an X-brace has a noticeable effect on verts.

The question is, for those who have an x-brace installed on their non-vert, did you notice a difference? How noticeable?

I've heard it was a good investment, but I don't have any direct experience with one. It's on my list of things to get though, always something else jumping the line though

Hard to say for me. 2 weeks ago I installed some wider wheels with new tires, I haven't had time to explore the limits with them yet. I installed my cross brace last week, and while I haven't driven too hard with it yet, I've noticed at higher speeds on the highway (80+) it's more stable and shakes less. I'd imagine the effect is there at low speeds also, just harder for me to tell.

Depends what you're after. A strut bar made a noticeable difference in cornering, while the brace made an improvement in stability over straight roads. To me, every part adds up to a whole, so it was worth it for me. Just don't go in expecting a night and day difference.

BTW, if it matters at all, I'm on h&r sports.
