How much camber do I need

My GC/koni coilover set up just arrived. Were should I set the camber at. This is a street car on twisty roads, no track/autoX. The camber plates have just 4 lines on them not marked. The toe has a CL on it with 4 lines on marked. car is going to be low. Any help would be appreciated.

You need all the camber you can get, rob a bank if you can't get enough. Toe is good too.

This isn't something you are going to be able to adjust accurately yourself. Take it to an alignment shop and get it aligned. 2-3 degrees of camber is probably the max you are going to want. Honestly though, I'd just have them set it to stock. You likely won't notice the difference on the street, and tires are expensive.

If you're not autoxing or tracking, I'd run maybe 1*.

The whole point is to keep the largest tire contact patch on the road as possible. When you corner, the body rolls, and the tire itself ends up leaning on the outside edge, lifting the inside of the tire off the ground, (or at least limiting the load on it). The point of running negative camber is to make the tire flat when cornering hard, so you have the biggest contact patch when you need it most. The compromise is a limited contact patch when not cornering, because its riding on the inside edge.

How important is cornering traction to you? On a street car on normal street tires, it is very unlikely you will notice a major traction increase, but you will certainly see a tire wear increase. You'll blow through the inside edges of your tires while still having full tread on the other 75% of the tire, which is just throwing money away.
