What Koni Sport to 325i EURO (rear) ?

    Hello everyone,

I confused about what Koni Sport to choose to my 325i 12/86.

After searching on the forum I realized that 8641-1210 short Sport is best for me for the front.

But what model to choose for the rear ?
80-2641 short sport (the shock of Low E30) OR 80-2522sp1 short sport (the shock of the Low M3)?

Maybe because the SP1 is the shock of the M3 is more rigid and durable?

    80-2641 is for 91 318iS cars, 80-2522 is for 325s. You want the 80-2522.

      Thanks for response,
But 80-2522 is for 325s on normal high.. My car is 40mm lower and M-tech suspension..
By Koni Finder, all the model in the picture are for 325is and no 318is..

The only thing I found in the net is (maxbimmer.pl):

      1. Sport Short 80-2641 Sport Lmax -30 mm
      2. Sport Short 80-2522 SP1 Lmax -40 mm

      What is mean for me?

I wrote to Koni.com and no response yet..
      Please have a look here-

I'm a fan of the 8041-1026 sport (apparently 8041-1186 sport are similar)

They're mustang shocks, but slightly shorter overall than E30. I believe they're slightly stiffer, and it's what came in at least some GC E30 coilover kits.

The biggest reason I bother mentioning them is because they're top adjustable (not remove/compress to adjust like the e30 ones)

Downside is that the mounting stud at the top is like 1mm bigger or something like that, so you need one of the RSMs made for them.
