KYB bump stops?

Do the KYB strut inserts have the same kind of internal bump stops as the bilsteins? if so can they be cut down in a similar fashion?
or do they use an external one like I have seen on some stock e30 front struts?

The KYBs I bought (then sent back) had huge external bump stops which had to be ordered separate from the dampers. Big ugly things :)

as long as i dont have to open them up to cut down/get rid of the bump stops.
