    Camber / Caster plates

Just installed Bavauto adjustable camber/caster plates in a friends 325es. The car is stock besides Bilstein Sports and Eibachs (forget which ones, the 1.3" drop though).

I was trying to figure out what alignment specs to give the garage when they do the alignment. The car is a street car with minor highway driving, mostly around town. It will see probably 10 autox's this year though.

How does this sound to start off with:

    Toe: 0.00
    Camber: -2.5
    Caster 9

We are mainly shooting for a mild setup, that won't kill tires, but still do better in the low speed auto-x's (not a very experienced driver, so looking for somethng a little more forgiving).

    Thanks.

camber etc.. sounds good but I'd go with less caster, as 9 would give good high speed stability

And we don't want highspeed stability?

9 is a good caster number. Too much is better than too little.

run 1/16 front toe. I would go with an even -2.0 camber.

any reasoning? I guess the turn in would help on autoxing. And as far as camber, less for better tire wear?

toe out helps with autox, but makes the steering feel creepy, and creates tire wear (on lots of freeway).

You said the guy only plans 10 autox this year. no need for that much camber unless he really wants too.
