3 holes on Eibach Sway Bar? What's the diff?

What's the difference in connecting the sway bar link to each of these 3 different holes/settings? Which one should I connect it too? (I'm removing it from one E30 and putting it on mine) Thanks

It *may* have something to do with the leverage point and change it's effectiveness, but I'm not sure. Personally I'd mount in the hole that gives you a perpindicular sway link under load.

First part is right, second part notsomuch.

The farther the link connects, the softer the sway bar will be.

so in the picture, which one should I set it too? It's currently in the middle one. I'll eventually be lowering my car and it's a DD.

Front sway bar set all the way stiff, rear set all the way loose.

A tighter rear sway bar means more oversteer, so these idiot kids can "dorifto"

Sway bars increase the spring rate during cornering. The problem is that the makers don't tell us, or more likely, don't even know how much. Rousch Racing's cars have had some really good designs and made them in house using tube. Diameter stays the same but the wall thickness is different. They all use the same mounts, arms, etc.
On your bar, the hole closest to the bar is the stiffest setting and the one all the way out to the end of the arm is the softest. You should put it in the one that you think makes the car work the best on the track or the way you like it best if it's a daily driver. Personally, I like stiff sway bars.

Ok, so the hole furthest towards the front bumper is the stiffest? It seemed it was previously stated that the hole furthest from the front bumper was the stiffest... although the way it was written/stated was a little confusing. I also don't mind stiffness....

The hole that gives the shorters measure for the bar is the stiffest setting. In front bar the on that is closest to rear bumper :)

                          More leverage=looser, less leverage stiffer.

I didn't say anything about any bumpers.

I swear we should have a requirement that you got a B or better in highschool physics before you should be allowed to post here. Leverage is such a simple concept.
