    Got mah sway bars!

    Finally!

    IE 25 Front 22 rear.
But have a couple of questions..
How hard is instalation? I think I need to weld the rear bars reinforcements correct? Is there a way I can install the sway bars, then drive up to a shop and get them to weld them, or is there a better way around this?? And I have the H&R Cup-Kit, am I going to notice a difference?? If somebody who has the H&R cup-kit with thicker sways, please don't hesitate to answer me!! Also, does anybody have install directions on a PDF or something for these?? for some reason mine didn't come with any instructions.. I thought it would

You could always put the rear sway in and leave the links off and drive to a shop and have them weld on the tabs, then attach the sways. I love my 25/22 sways with my H&R Race/Billy sport. Really nice setup.

I think that you actually don't have to weld the brackets... as that would create more stress to the bottom of the trunk which will lead to flex of trunk floor blah blah blah... I think easier and better is just to bolt it down. There was a thread/post someone bolting their IE's... they had braket on inside of the trunk, to which they bolted the actual mounts... as if you would weld it or bolt it just to the trunk then there is a big change of them ripping out!

The rear bar mounts are attached through the floor of the trunk. You will end up drilling 4 holes in the trunk, passing the bolts through the reinforcement plate, then through the floor, into the bar mount.

The end tabs need to be welded onto the trailing arms

On the front should be pretty self explanatory.

ok, sweet, and does the kit come with the brackets that need to be welded, or am I going to have to make them my self? I think it comes with it, it's connected to the rear sway bar links??

I dont see the trailing arm reinforcements in those pics. With a 22mm rear bar I HIGHLY recommend that you do the reinforcement tabs.

the little kinda triangular bits are the tabs that should be welded on.

I want those so bad...I am nearly jealous!

Yup, thats it. I still think the Turner's are better but those will work.

Yup. Note the little triangle is not unilateral. You will find it is made to fit left or right. Place it under the stock one (IIRC) and weld it on.

I am gonna make some swaybar mounts like those for stock "is" bars and "Energy" bushings...cause I am cheap.

                      Still nearly jealous, though.

soooo uhh, i keep hearing that I'm going to end up wrecking my car with these bars.. since i will get to much snap oversteer... is that trueee?? is there anyway I can change the settings for it to be less oversteer while i'm driving it daily? and then make it oversteer for autoX?

Yes, the rear swaybar is infinitely adjustible depending on where on the bar you attach the endlinks. The closer to the end of the bar will make it softer (understeer). The farther in away from the end, wil make it stiffer (oversteer).

And yes, you can mount everything up and then drive to a shop to have them weld on the tabs for you. Just don't drive like speed racer on the way to the shop.

so what EXACTLY do sway bars do? and how much of an effect will they have on stiffer then stock (Bils * IE StageIII) suspension?
