thanks...I guess my question was actually HOW they work but these links explained that pretty well too. :D

set them to neutral at first.

basically, set the car on even ground or same height ramps, or planks of wood.
then adjust links so there's no slack when in that position.

from there on it's a matter of driving style / preference.

do weld those tabs in rear or what's there will snap off,
there's no problem if you drive with rear links off to the weld / muffler shop.

Sway bars will transfer pressure on your wheels from one side to another, so when your right wheel in a turn wants to get up into the fenderwell, the sway bar pushes the other wheel in the same direction (UP), thus preventing your car from leaning.;)
