ohmahgawd is on the right thought track, in that you CAN find the diamond in the rough... but its a bitch to get there.

i built a pretty balanced setup last year out of lots of random shit i bought. there is so much poorly engineered crap out there, the only way youll find out is to have it in your hands. i had to modify and remake parts just to get it to fit right.
one source is american muscle car magazines. for some reason, much of their stuff costs way less but again, its something you have to know dimentions and such, in order to build your kit.

read what i posted again, not once did i ever say that ebay COs use eibach, i merely meant that GC can charge more because they can use the eibach name/spring

of course you can group a $30 CO with a $350 CO kit together.... if they're the same thing but different names. Again let me reiterate... GC prolly does make their stuff in-house w/much better construction and material, and hence the heftier price-tag.

Here's another question to throw out there... "WHAT IF" the material and construction of those ebay kits is "good enough"

And just for the record i'm buying used GC coilovers in the FS thread

You get what you pay for actually says nothing about quality.
        Some pay more than others.
Some pay more than others for less.

Hell is where you always pay retail.

          Hello,

          Spring rate are 8kg for front & 10G for back. (8kg/mm = 448lbs/in and 10kg/mm = 560lbs/in) Racing Sport
i emailed them and that is apparently the only spring rate setup they have for the kit.
