Seems like you need a lot of reinforcement just to make
a cup kit handle ok, when IE's or KW's and some good dampers handle
very good without all the extras.

I have very little body roll with my setup, the sways took care of most of that.

Hows that clutch replacement going? And you work non stop on restoring a car for a year, it gets old.

And sorry but I will not have suspension that has uncaptive springs, even if I take a handling hit for it.
I really can't imagine a situation where IE3's would come magically popping out, they sit in their loose when everything is completely unbolted from the car but they're by no means eays to remove still.

And unless you have air jacks, that'd be a totally worthless comparison, as the rate of unloading caused by catching air from a bump and the rate of unloading caused by frantic jacking is orders of magnitude different.

Wait til I get my sways in. I think those will make a huge difference. I like the setup and have been very happy with it to this point, but to each his own and I respect that.

BTW - I emailed Jeff Ireland for his input.

Edit - He responded saying it is completely normal (mind you he makes and sells the things).

As you can tell by my projects in general, I like doing alot of extra work.
                Cup kit is fine =)

Of course Jeff is going to say that it is perfectly normal...

I also asked him if it was safe, etc. He said everything is fine and there are 1000's of cars out there that have springs like this. I figure if something bad happens I have emails from him saying this is fine and there is no problem. :D

Yea I rode in Abe's (loonibab325i) car at the last auto-x he has Jordan's cupkit and we installed the IE sways rear and front and man I don't think there was much of any body roll. Made the ride a lot stiffer imo.
