and sports come in many varieties. maybe it was for a lighter car than your first one or made to be lower than standard sports. my car on sports is SLAMMMMMED.
    what?

I'm comparing my 87 325is on H&R race springs to EVERY OTHER e30 on H&R race springs I've ever seen, early and late. It has nothing to do with sport springs.

I know it's an old thread but for anyone who's looking for a reason why this happens, notice that he installed new control arms and bushings. Any binding of suspension components or un-lubed bushings will cause resistance and prevent the car from settling down as far as it should. I usually put a little bit of grease on the bushings , and check to make sure things are able to move freely (or close enough) before putting everything back together. The sway bar and it's bushings can also cause resistance. Hope that helps someone.
