    What GC Camber Plate Buy?!

    Hey guys,

I'm runing 5 lug conversion with e36 parts. However I cutted the e36 shock and used the body with custom threaded with my Koni adjustable e30 stock insert shocks. However I'm runing stock e30 upper spring perch ( I think that's the name in english) as you can see in the picture below and I'm not sure what GC buy.

They offer two models, one pictured and other non pictured but expensier. Calling there seems doesn't help much as I'm not sure if the guys over there know what I have really even sending pictures.

    This: http://www.ground-control-store.com/...hp/II=142/CA=8

WITH: Koni 14mm and "XXXXX" (what spring perch select)

or: http://www.ground-control-store.com/...hp/II=722/CA=8 (wich doesn't have much info)

Here are my messures and system:

    Thnaks,

    -Diego

        I'm running GC springs.

The camber plate completely replaces the stock perch. You just use the GC perch on your existing shock

So, my friend called to GC and spoke with them about this lil doubt we have.

          Here is what they said:

The GC e30 SPEC camber plates are designed to use with a factory spring size and the GC e30 "universal" camber Plates are desinged for either 2.5", 2.25", or 60mm ID springs
In few rods, it won't fit?

Keep in mind I sent them the same photos I posted here and gave them all the dimmesions.

No hope for my e30 seems :hitler::(

Send your info and questions to www.vorshlag.com These guys make great camber plates and they're small scale, so they may be able to make custom plates, if necessary.

                Got a response:

So this spring in the pictures has a 74mm ID? I think you'd have to get our stock style perches and attach that perch in the picture to it (if it is attached, I can't tell). For a little more, you could buy our coil over perches ($60) and buy new springs ($50/ea). Otherwise you'll need our stock style perch which is $125 and then you'll have to modify it to work with that 74mm spring.
