it doesent seem like im going to be able to gather enough money to get the holy grail billy HDs so would tokico HPs be any good as far as quality and ride characteristics or should i just go oem? i know alot of guys on the forum dont like tokicos but they would still be better than stock right?

People on this forum will berate Tokicos and call them the most worthless this and crappy that.... but I ran Tokico's on my Acura and was generally happy with them. They are a bit on the inexpensive side but they should provide you a bit better feel then stock. Though I have heard of Tokico's blowing more often on dropped cars, you should be fine since you're going with M3 springs, which is a touch lower but practically stock (...stock M3 I suppose).

If you can't afford Billstein, Tokico's should do you fine.

I have tokico blues on my car with racing dynamics springs and they have been great. If your daily driving I doubt that you would be unhappy with tokicos, they are a pretty good deal. Mine are three years old and I've no problems.

I have billy sports on my m3 springs and they are fine. I would recommend saving up for them because then if you feel the need to go lower, you wont need new shocks. If you are really strapped for money, I would bet that the stock shocks would be fine with the minor lowering of the springs.
