    what about shocks?
and lowering your with an m30 in it shouldnt make much of a difference the m30 weighs about as much as an m20 with full accessories (ac/ps)

id advise that you save up and get a quality kit ie: lowtecs get some sufficient shocks to go along with it or else you'll be eating oilpans weekly with blown shocks and a 60/50 drop.

I have m3 springs and billy sports right now and they have way too much fender gap. I guess that all the pics I have seen of a 60/50 kit have been taken before they settle. Jason some pics of your car with the springs settled would be great because your car has the high rear arches if I am not mistaken. The cup kit lowers the car nicely, but it is way too soft IMO. I guess that I should just get the engine in now and save up for some IE3s later. Thanks for the help guys.

Remember, i got high rear arches and a higher rear valance then late models. So it's doesn't look as low in the back.

But you're oil pan is 3.5" off the ground?!

Now what about 4door E30s... Will the drop be the same?

            BTW - awesome drop!

I guess that's not too bad;). I like you car a lot Jason, a large gathering of parts that somehow work perfectly together. Are you running pads at all?
I have heard some good things about KW springs on the other e30 sight, but I don't trust their knowledge very much. What do you guys think; they have a 60/60 kit that looks good. I think the even-drop springs would end up looking like a 70/60 with the new engine. Does anyone know where to get them in the US?

without them settled (pics taken day after). The springs feel nice and stiff too. And the pics on an incline, so it doesnt look as low for some reason.

KW 60/40's are great springs, nice stance, stiff but not harsh. The only thing is tunershop used to sell genuine KW's, now they sell ST's as their replacements. They are not the same springs and are supposedly very soft. I ran KW 60/40's with drop hats.

Some 60/60 FK's are nice for the dollar value, it's too bad they have become hard to find.

Dan Gillian had them on his E30.

Wow, really? For some reason I always thought that you had coilovers. I think that your old car was the best looking car on the forum. I remember seeing it in the members rides section of eurotuner and thinking how awesome it looks. The 60/40 looks great on your car, but your arches are the low ones, so I am afraid that it will sit to high in the back.

Do you have any pics of his car?
Also, does anyone know where to find FK or KW springs in the US?
