Coilovers give you inifinte and corner-by-corner ride height adjustability, as well as additional wheel/tire room, the potential for shortened strut/shock bodies (which gives you more travel on a lowered car), and much more front strut/camber adjustability, if you have adjustable camber plates. "Lowering springs" are still gigantic things that eat up a lot of room inside the strut tower. But the cost for good monotube adjustable coilovers is a lot more than what the OP paid. :D

should be installed within the next week or two. i get the new shock mounts on the second and the spring compressor should come soon also. ill try to get it done before the 7th. so i can go for a nice drive on my birthday. any tips on installation?

In the next 6 months or so I plan on getting rid of my H&R Race springs and going CO. I love my H&R Race springs. Drop is nearly perfect with an additional rear spring pad. I just wish that the front was slightly lower (maybe 1/2" or so). I may just pull out the front spring pads and see how it sits then.My 2.9L Build!
