IE Stage 3 with stock perches?!?

I am a bit confused here. Is anyone running IE Stage 3 springs with factory "upper" spring perches? This is what I was about to do but just noticed that the stock perches sit 180 degrees out from stock when sitting on the IE 's. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

So just rotate the top so that the coil end rests properly in the upper hat before lowering the car.

Thanks all, I thought pretty much everyone was using stock perches, but I just wanted to check because the holes on the perches dont quite sit perpendicular to the strut when sitting on the IE springs. Seems like there's no problem with that though, thanks for the confirmation!

i just had a similar problem, but i didn't order the right perches. i ordered coilover perches. now i have to return them to get oem diameter ones from vorshlag to go with there camber plates i got.
