Early 318i and H&R Sport?

Does anybody have an early 318i car with H&R Sport Springs? I've searched but didn't find anything specific enough.

I have bilstein sport front/rear, and I want a nice drop for it to not look like 4x4. Not looking for a slammed or stiff drop, as I have another car for that.

I am just afraid to order a set and end up with the car sitting too high again.

its a stretch but heres my eta with hr sports. i dont THINK it will sit that much different. i could be way wrong with the early 4cyl weighing a lot less than a 325. this car has the super thin spring pads on also.

The early 318 weighs less than 2400lbs. Unless they're 318 specific springs, you're not going to get a nice drop.

I know you have an early car with higher arches but this may help. The springs on my car are the early 318 specific H&R 29664, the drop is 1.3 front and rear. Initially I wanted the softer spring rate, now I wish I would have bought race's or g/c.





I also have 15mm spacer all around with the basketweaves.

Got a quote on these from shox.com, also it looks like H&R Race springs don't exist for early 318s.

Jean, I just put H&R race springs on my friends e30 M3 last night. He had 318i H&R sports on it previously and is going to be selling them. Shoot me a pm if you're interested. I'll have him verify the part number just to be sure.
