I am going to get myself some billies pretty soon and generally all the bushings necessary for replacement. The main question is does everyone recommend replacing old stock struts to the E46 struts? This is what i've vaguely heard.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no. You may be confused with the e36 5 lug conversion. -

You see, BMW's for the last little while here, have had the same type/style of Rear Shock Mount (RSM), The ones made for the e30 are lighter duty in comparo to the e46 units. Thus, when replacement/upgrade is made, use that unit.Comment
