    Just installed Bilstien Sports

I just installed Billie sports in the front of my 325i. I have H&Rsprings on the front, from what I read in another post was that the red H&R's are the race springs. The front is really stiff and almost bouncy but I have only drive about 10 miles on them. Do they break in after a hundred miles or so? That is what I have heard.
The springs say H&R 3/98 and some other numbers on the next coil. I will check that number again

Yeah check that other number as well because that will say what model they are. If its really stiff it could be do to the fact that the shocks haven't broken in yet. So don't judge stiffness just yet.

Color has nothing to do with it. Both my Sports and Races are red, and they also come in grey, blue, and probably some other colors.

Look at this site. It shows that OEM are gray, sports are black and race are red. Some one else posted this so that is what i was going off of

                What site?

In any case, the color does not define the model of the spring.

Sorry I forgot to paste it. It is the H&R website. Like I said that is what i was going off since someone had posted it.

Yeah, pay no attention to that :)

Your front springs would say "EBS-BMW 3/1" if they were race springs.

Color has no bearing for H&R springs. Sport springs can come grey, blue, red, and numerous other colors. Race springs also come in many different colors as well.
