Quick Question: How can you tell shortened koni's from regular koni's by looking at the actual strut/shock?
So my car is on cut springs. It SUCKS. They seem to be cut at slightly different heights because I can hear them twist and the car doesn't drive straight. It used to get stuck left or right, now it just goes right.
Obviously, I need some new suspension but I can't quite afford shortened koni's right now. So I was thinking about grabbing some cosmo coilovers. I am used to a bad ride already so this way at least I could drive straight and have actual springs.
I've been reading that they need to be welded though. Is this absolutely true? Because it would seem to me if I welded the cosmos to my stock struts I couldn't swap out to the koni's in the near future.
Thanks.
