What is the deal with them? I've heard of people using them before, but I've also heard that they are the same as normal e30 shocks. Is there any benefit to them? What year mustangs did they come out of?

However, if you think about it, when GC decided a long time ago that the Mustang shock wasn't good enough, it was a big commitment to test a lot of different things (taking apart and revalving) and then throw down $$$ to get Koni to build them instead of being stuck with Mustang shocks.
So, I am a good person to get an opinion from because I have tried many different things, but I am a bad person to get an opinion from because I have made up my mind that the Mustang shocks aren't good enough.
This is further complicated by what is really on the internet, compared to fake dyno sheets that some people want you to believe.
If you call me I can explain it easier than I can write about it, and if I could use my hands to make gestures, I could make it all crystal clear.

Thank you for clarifying, Jay, I was hoping you would chime in. What exactly was different about them that made you not like them?
I have to admit that my main reason for asking is that my friend gave me a pair of 03 mustang cobra rear Bilsteins.Last edited by E30SPDFRK; 02-09-2009, 03:47 PM.Byron

I resisted but maybe it will prove to be a good idea. this way people can get comparative info from one source instead of several.

I know, no bumpstops = bad but I haven't bottomed them out in 6 years and I don't intend on off-roading my car anytime soon.
