    Where to get PS hoses?

    WHere can i get bulk PS low pressure hose? the hoses that come off of the PS res?

    BMW want close to 50 bucks per hose..and thay are just regular old hose...

    They have specific ends on them though, which may have something to do with it. Your best bet is the junkyard or to post a wanted ad.

      on the early models of low pressure hoses they have removable ends, that are just clamped on.

          yea, they said that the bulk hose there woul;d be eaten by the ATF...kinda stumped me

              Try a store that supply's semi truck parts. That is the reason its so damn hard to find hoses, its corrosive.

                  Maybe transmission hose would work? (I'm being sarcastic.) Any worth it's salt auto parts store is gonna have a rack of bulk line in the back. This thread is funny.

                    ever been to an auto parts store in NY/NJ area? if you cant tell them a year/make/model, then they cant remove ther head from thier asses.

                    Is all rubber hose good for ATF/PS fluid? i dunno, i figured most EPDM hoses would be but i was wrong...can you name the material type that is ok?...i cant either

                      They have power steering hoses at my local pepboys. They probably have them at napa too, but I never go there. Polyethylene or nitrile rubber are popular for these hoses. They will be thick and have reinforcing by some weaved threads in there.
