I know the Potenza is better my question is is it 200.00 per set better?

Prolly not. Is the goodyear V-speed rated? If so it has a 50k mile warranty.

They are both W-94. The warranty is not my concern, handling is my concern.

      Thanks.

Both but primarily the weather will be dry. In the rare event of rain I want decent grip, that's why I am going with all season tires not summer.

The Goodyears are about 600.00, the Bridgestones 800.00

Just check the reviews on the 960. I'll say it's up to you, but $200 is a big price diff between an excellent tire (960) and a very good tire (eagle). If it were myself I'd try the 960's if I had the money, but that's because I like having the best tire I can purchase. If you can put that $200 to good use, I don't think you can go that wrong with the goodyear.

            What size?

The Potenza is #1 in Tire Rack's user estimation & the Goodyear #5 in the segment. These are for my Acura 3.2 CL S. The size is 225 45 17 W 94.

I am leaning towards the Potenza as you say they are the better choice, I don't mind spending more, I want good tires and will spend more if the Potenza will actually provide significant gains.
