    RML 16inch Bottle Caps

We’ve wanted to make this wheel forever, but have never been 100% confident there’s sufficient demand from the E30 BMW market. We’re still not, to be honest, but we’re only going to make 300 wheels, so the risk isn’t huge. The Bottlecap is probably the most well-known E30 OEM wheel design, but it was only available in

Thought this was super cool, not a huge fan of bottlecaps but I know some people dig them. Looks like RML mostly makes VW wheels, not sure if theyre good quality but they at least look nice. Limited to 300 sets for the time being.

I wonder how that's gonna look on the car

I think these will look great, and allegedly they decided to not paint the RML logo on the lip so it looks more OEM+, and the centrecap is designed to fit the stock BMW ones if you wish. Price also seems very reasonable.

My only gripe is that 225/45R16 is unfortunately a dying tire size... at this time, 5 options on tirerack, all 200TW or less.

Vs for 15s: 11 options for 225/50R15, which still isn't a lot. I'm not above running miata sizes 225/45R15 (11 options), or 245/40R15 (8) since they'll obviously fit on the same wheels, have usually had better options, and are cheaper...
You don't get the option to undersize with 16s.
You can Oversize to 225/50R16 or 245/45R16, but as someone running the latter, I don't recommend it because I find it feels bad.

Love 16s for the aesthetic on 2-dr e30, but the tires aren't worth it for me. Really hope these sell like hot cakes and then they decide to expand the sizing... would love to see some 15x8s, or even 17x8~9

I run 16s on my e30s and Miata and they're damn near impossible to find tires for these days.

I received my wheels last week. Discount tire wouldn't put on the 215/50/16 I had ordered since they said they were "too narrow" for the 8" wheels so I had to bump up to 22/50/16 which I think look great on this car.

Bummer on the tire options, but 16s on e30s look so clean; fills the wheel arch in nicely. looks super good, but definitely a little weird, like uncanny valley bottlecaps
