Weave photoshoot. iX plus Euroweave comparison.

I just obtained this perfect iX weave as part of a set I'm building for the new iX as it has aftermarket wheels on it right now. It's an original spare with the original Uniroyal tire on it. I'm deciding on whether to actually use it. I think it belongs in a museum.

Also, I never noticed there's actually quite a bit of difference between the iX weave and the Euroweave. If you haven't seen them side by side it might surprise you. Notice how the center of the e41 iX weave points outwards while the e24 Euroweave is perpendicular with a nice deep lip. :)

Pretty cool, I always made the distinction by the roundedness of the inside behind the cap.

The side by sides make the distinction really clear. It makes sense if you think about it, because the iX runs a different offset than the other e30's.
