    Poweder coating or painting rims

I have 15 inch Euro baskets, There is oxidation on them and they dont look good. I am wondering if you think I should have them repowdercoated or have them re painted. here is a link to my car domain, you can see the rims.

Paint will have a better looking finish overal.

I don't much care for powdercoat on wheels.

Thanks for the reply, I think I will go with paint alot of others have told me the same thing. Do you know how much it usually costs to have them redone?

A good amount of money, I've seen around $70-120ea (USD) to have rims completely refinished.

And I agree with you Jordan, powdercoated wheels have a crappy dull finish, not my thing.

Yeah, the rim looks brand new afterwards. Call local places and get some quotes.

For such inexpensive wheels that you're considering having redone, I'd suggest selling them and picking up a set of Ronal LS'. You'll likely save money and have better wheels in the end.

spend some money on decent paint and DIY. cleaning/sanding 34 spokes on every wheel multiple times sucks, but they'll turn out nice if you put some effort into it.

If powder coating is done right it looks as good as paint. Hell Harley powdercoats the tanks and fenders on their bikes, they come out great.
