Buying some new rims and tires

Well I got a rediculous offer on my eurobaskets. so I am selling them. I am interested in buying ronal ls's or kopis. Both of these rims I like alot. I like the lip of the ronal ls's but I like the kopis being 17s. I can get the ronals for 600 shipped to my door, I am not sure about the kopis but I am sure they are more. I am a little worried about weight, I know the kopis are 20 - 22 pounds, will this noticably effect my acceleration? What do you guys thing I should get.

Yes it will affect your accerleration, but I don't think the LS's are particularly light either.

The ronals weigh 17.5 pounds to the 15.5 lbs for 15" baskets. The kopis yes are going to slow your car down just due to the added rotational mass.

Wheels are a strict matter of personal taste.

They won't slow the car down enough to matter.

 You've never driven a car with big wheels have you?????

I notice a difference in acceleration on my car between stock 14's and 15" Zender Turbos. Wheels make a HUGE difference.

Kumho 712's are absolute garbage tires.

Dont get the 712s. A friend had a defect show up that ended up costing him a set of wheels. If you wanna go cheap but still good get the Yoko ES100s.

Matt if you really think that the difference between wheels isnt enough to affect the car you need to compare bottlecaps to just about any other wheel. I can easily tell when I have the caps on versus my 2+ 16lb Alpinas.
                            Im now E30less.
