    Anyone on BBS RZs

Does anyone have pictures of a diamontschwarz E30 riding on gold colored BBS RZ (weave style) wheels? I'm considering picking up a set of gold BBS RZ wheels that came off of a E28 M5 (16x7.5 et 20) for my 318is ;)

Put it to you this way...

          E28 M5 has a 5 bolt pattern that's 5x120mm. E30 318is has a 4 bolt pattern that's 4x100mm.

You have two options to make this fit. 1) convert your car to a 5 lug set up with parts salvaged from an E30 M3.....this is anything but affordable. 2) get yourself some adapters to make them fit. Problem with the latter is that these wheels are already 7.5" wide and the ET20 offset is pushing them out to the fenders already. Adapters will only push these out farther and most likely will create a tire-to-fender clearance problem. In addition, you wouldn't want to run wheels with adapters if you planned on taking your car to some track event.....its just not a wise move.

Trent's had a few to many Sparks tonight...
            he meant...

"He wouldnt have specified E28 M5 is he didnt"

aka, BimmerToad has a 5-lug swap.

BimmerToad, look at Stu's thread.. the last couple pages have his DSchwarz car on gold BBS RA's... similar to RZ's, and the closest to the real thing you'll find for pics.

yes I know that. I just didn't quite catch what trent said.

Also, I don't even think that there are 5x120 to 4x100 adapters, so not only should you not run them at a track event, he couldnt run them at all if he had 4x100. (as far as i know).

UNCHLL, yah thats what i thought what trent might have meant. But there are few people who neglect to take in account that the two cars have different bolt pattern. I'm not saying that Bimmer Toad is stupid, but since I don't know him, I just wanted to know that he actually does have the 5 lug swap. :?

                  Sow me some pics :)

I do believe they make some 4x100 to 5x120 spacers. I know for sure they make ones to 5x114.

                    Last time I checked, I wasn't stupid

Currently, I don't have 5 lug hubs on my car, but I DO have a complete E30 M3 suspension/brakes/hubs/rear subframe sitting on the side of the garage at my parent's place. I have all the stuff, I just need the time :)

I saw Stu's pics, and I'm starting to think gold centers would look good on a diamontschwarz car. It would be sorta ol' school euro style 8)

Here's a pic of one of the wheels

                    16x7.5 et20

I'll probably buy them. They'd make great street wheels, but they won't be as baller as my track wheels
