I've run two sets of 225s on my 15x7 Zenders. ES100s and BFG G-Force Sports. The steering response isn't razor sharp, but there is definitely a lot of grip to be had, especially when you bump up the tire pressures a bit.
I'd say go for it. 225s look good under an e30, too.

      Here's my review on the RT-615 195/60/14

I have had the chance to take e30 gangsta's car out in the track for a 18-20 laps and I must say I am quite dissapointed with the RT-615s. I cannot compare them to the Azenis Sports because I never really had a chance to drive on them but the tire just doesnt hold out well at all.

On the course setup we had, we could only do two laps at a time and sit down for 10 minutes until everyone else had their turn.

The first lap was beyond dissapointing. Until I cleared the first couple of corners warming up the tires, I could not keep traction if my life depended on it. The amount of grip was ridiculously low and I was constantly fighting understeer.

In the second lap things changed, the tires began to grip much better and they were actually up to par with my 205/55/15 Kuhmo 711s (which is more than dissapointing... even for having a smaller width). Note: I was low on cash when I bought those 711s. I regret it and should've come up with the money for AVS ES100s.

There was arguably a lot of dirt in the track from quite a few people spinning out. However the first shitty lap second good lap happened most of the times, and everyone in my run group did not seem having any issues with their cars.

We mounted e30gangsta's rear RT-615s into our friend's AE86 Levin, and he was another one that was constantly fighting understeer. For the last laps he jumped into his fiance's sr20 powered s14 (w/ AVS ES100s) and had no issues at all with understeer.

I was never really a fan of Azenis, but did admire their low cost. But for the new raised prices of the RT-615, I highly doubt they are worth it. I would personally go with something else.
