Is 225/40 too big for a 16x9? (rear)

    HATERS!!

    It would look great if you're low enougn. You would have to do quite the extensive roll job on the fenders with that offset, but the tire size is just fine for E30 fenders. Also, depending on how low you're going to go, you will also have to "roll" the fender dimple on the inside back of the fender.

          I run 215/40's on my T's and it doesn't look bad at all. It's stretched a little, but I've seen 205's on a 9 and 195's on a 8 and they're a lot more stretched. I'm not a fan of big stretch, but if you want a big lip, your gonna have to stretch to make it fit.

          Some people run 215/45's, I've seen that, it looks a little big IMO, but it doesn't look as stretched.
