    i wish i took pics of the wheels before i painted them... i bought them from lowlevel e30.... i think he has pics..... if you read this please post a pic of one of the wheels....
    i ended up painting them with dupont chroma base paint with vari prime primer and aluminum conversion coat..... you can see the aftermath here

    painting basketweaves is not easy, and neither is bead blasting them.... but i think it was worth it

      It took me 4 hours to paint the wheels. That was with waiting for the paint to dry before applying clear coat.
      I cleaned them with a scotch brite pad and Costal Power Clean. Wipe down with acetone and paint.

      Würth Silver Spray Paint, and Würth clear coat.

      I had just washed them, so its water on the wheels, not holes or deep gouges. There is some minor curb rash I chose not to clean up.

      Its really easy to do.

        there is a guy on roadfly that has a set of these for sale too. His name is Mark in PA if someone wants to track down a set, he has pics.

        the 15" weaves that is....
