Im running 225/45/16's on 16x7.5 et25 wheels. My rear rubs like crazy under moderate acceleration, or going up hills. My fenders have a slight roll, do i just need to roll them more or should i go with 215/45's?

i have no answer to your problem but with et25 you shouldn't have any rubbing issue. i have the same size tires and wheels. -
You should only need a small roll. Its way easier and cheaper to do it as well.Byron

Sounds like it might be rubbing on the inner fender not right on the edge so rolling it probably won't solve it. What suspension you running? It could be too soft.sigpicComment

That shouldn't rub, frankly. I'm wondering just how soft that setup is.

Its lowtek 60/50's and lowtek shocks. All the bushings and other suspension bits are new.
Previous to this i was running 205/50/16 at et28 with no rubbing issues what so ever =[-Alex

I ran that exact setup with GC coilovers at a fairly soft rate...never grazed even once, and that was with unrolled fenders! Is it rubbing on both sides? Comment

If they have rubbed there will be a mark. take your wheels of and poke you head in there and look all around with a flashlight. You will find a spot where the paint has been scuffed.
I just did this and found a spot at the top of the fender, past the lip, where my tires were rubbing.

If your car is too grimy and the tires don't show damage stick some masking tape inside the wheel wells and fender lips, go out and launce the car.sigpicComment
