Which tire has better dry traction?

I just scored some brand new tires for cheap off Craigslist.

The thing is, they are two different types of tires.

    I got a pair of these: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

And a pair of these: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

So the thing is, i want to find the tire that has better dry traction, and put them on the front, so as to reduce the wicked understeer that my car is so prone to.

So does anyone have some insight?

    Thanks

Well.... going off the numbers that the TR itself gives, I'd say go with the either of them. They are both rated in the mid 8's so i don't think that you'll really notice much of a difference.

lol, sorry. Well, tire rack rates the first one at an 8.2/10 for dry traction, and the second at 8.3/10... sooo, the second.

yup, just read all the ratings, stupid me, this is a prime example of why people should do a little searching before feverishly creating threads about every question they have....

no worries... I just asked a guy if I could buy his stock M3 spoiler for my non M.... (i felt like such an idiot... dont know what I was thinking)

Besides, some questions have to be asked more than once :)
