Jeez I don't even have the compomotives on the car yet and I'm contemplating another set of wheels.

Those chops look better than I was expecting. Thanks for taking the time to do them.

Those do look to have flatter spokes than my et20 rb's. I haven't seen any RB-R's with the 4X100 bolt circle. Like Speedminded, everything I am seeing are the 4X113.4 that the old school z's like to run. Am I not looking in the right places?

Does look good, but not for everyone I suppose.

          and just for fun...

Thanks for the pics! I dunno if I really like it now lol! Do you know what size the tires are? Any more pics from more conservative angles? Maybe if the fenders were rolled and a more aggressive stance it would look better.

            *edit*
nm, I can see the tire size now...looks like 205/45. Quick chop making them a solid color...

The guards are rolled on that car, he had rubbing issues without it! The front end will be going down more but over here our good roads are what you guys would consider "rough-as" :D

I think he got the wheels from here: http://ipraforum.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4183

And the 4x100 must have been a custom order to do so. I'm now enquiring with these guys about the 17x8.5 :D

The 4x100 is a stock option on the 16x8 et+4

I wish they made it in a 16x9, not sure what offset would be needed though!

Ahh, 18racing didn't have that fitment up when I checked.

17x8.5 et +4, 4x100. Can be done, would have a 3 month wait on delivery and is about $330AUD a wheel

^That would be titties! But that's a bit pricey. Up here I can find the 16x8 +4 for $550 shipped.

Did they say how many would have to be sold to do that order?

                      That is quite pricey.

<edit> it looks like the 17x8.5 spokes aren't as flat as the 16X8 in that ipra thread. That's unfortunate.

It is...but I'm in Australia thats the way things go :( I don't buy things from the stealer because they really are thieves, have to import everything from the states, even after forking out for shipping its cheaper by a mile.

But anyway, I guess the store I'm talking to does have to buy multiple sets in order to get the new fitment, hence the price. But remember even though the AUD is doing well it still only buys 91 US cents.

So that works out about $300US a wheel and that is shipped. I guess shipping hlfway round the world really does kill the price :(

And ditto on the lack of flat spokes, but it has more lip :)
