I need to get some new tires and cant seem to find any decent tires at a good price. Not only that.. theres not much wider tire options for a 14" rim. I want to run at least 205's but would like 225's maybe even 215's. Anyone know of any tires good for me?

205/60-14s fit. i think any wider than that on a 6.5inch rim is overkill, and might not even fit. if you are worried about performance, it is more important to get a quality tire in the right size as opposed to a shitty tire that is a couple centimeters wider, giving you the illusion of greater performance.Comment

I just need some cheap decent tires for daily driving. I plan on getting two more bottlecaps with slicks for when I hit the strip. Im currently running 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm in the back. I have a 185/70/14 tire right now with a little less than 1 1/2" clearance from the tire and strut tube. Doesnt good and tight run 225's all around on bottlecaps? I think I can do it. I dont mind the look of a slightly wider tire on a skinny rim.84' 318i m30b35 swapped!
