Back from the dead. I just bought new wheels and me nor the PO know the centerbore. These were on a V-dub, I believe so hopefully I am not completely fucked. Didn't think of centerbore until now when I was washing them.
How do you measure centerbore by yourself w/ no machine or box? I'm a picture learner so if you don't mind putting pics up that would be great.
Just eyeing it on the outside of the wheel w/ a ruler it looks like its 57mm but on the insideof the wheel w/ a ruler widest daimeter hole is almost 70mm
Hopefully you can see it. The red arrow is the hole that is measuring 57mm. I don't have kopis these are just for an example. The the hole, if you turn the wheel over on the back is about 70mm.
Sorry, but is there a tool that is small enought to get into that hole and get an exact reading? I can't get the ruler down there and when I read it, it is about 2" away from the hole. Are there any sizes that are close that it could be with an accurate measurement?
